INSTRUCTIONS For initial sign up

Step 1: Find & Open the Email Invitation

Be on the lookout for an email invitation sent from “Jonica Suver [Trinity Church] <no-reply@planningcenteronline.com>” with the subject: “You are invited to join our directory.” If you use Gmail, it will probably be routed to your “updates” or “promotions” tab.





Alternate option: Can't find the email invitation? Contact the church office trinity@mytrinity.tv 

Step 2: Log-in with your mobile number or email address to "Join the Directory"

Click the link in that email to “Join Directory.” Follow the prompts to get started and log in. If you don’t want to use your mobile number to log in, you can use your email address instead by clicking the link "Use email address instead" below the “Next” button.


Step 3: Enter the 6 digit code to Join the Directory

  • If you entered your mobile number, the system will send you either a text message with a 6 digit code that functions as a password. Type in the 6 digit code, and click "Next."

  • If you entered your email address, the system will send you an email with a 6 digit code that functions as a password. Type in the 6 digit code, and click "Next."

Step 4: Log in to Church Center and Opt-In to the Directory:

Once you’re logged in, click the link that says “Share it now.”


Step 5: Check the boxes to share your info

Select the information you want to share with other members by checking the boxes. Then click “Join Directory.”

Bonus points: If any of your contact information is incorrect, you can edit your profile by clicking that link. Scroll down and click “Save Changes.” Please note: some fields like name and birthdate are locked. Please contact the church office to make these corrections. Advanced: Upload a photo of yourself!


Step 6: Feedback: Let us know what you think!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the invitation to join the directory?

Invitations were sent to the email address we have on file. If you use Gmail, please check your "Promotions" or "Updates" tab. If you use another email provider, please check your spam. If you cannot find the invitation, please email trinity@mytrinity.tv 


My name is spelled incorrectly or my birthdate is incorrect.

Our apologies! Please contact the church office to make corrections to these fields by emailing trinity@mytrinity.tv  Several data fields are locked in Church Center.


Is my information secure?

The church directory is a private place for the people in our church to share their contact information with one another. Your personal information is always private until you choose to share it. After you accept the email invitation, you’ll be able to choose exactly what personal and household information you would like to share.


Only Trinity Church members, attenders, and their immediate family members will be invited to join the church directory by Trinity Staff.

Do I have to share my information?

No, your information is always private until you choose to share it.


I don't have a smartphone or a mobile number. Can I still join the directory?

Yes, you can join the directory using your computer or laptop and your email address. In step two, click the link below the "next" button that says "use email address instead."

Church Center App

ONLINE AND ON YOUR PHONE

Church Center is our online and smartphone portal for MyTrinity Church church family. With Church Center, we have a place to connect to one another through our online directory, check in to church and Sunday School, give online, and organize our volunteer service at church.

Church Center can be accessed through either our web portal or through the mobile app. Here are instructions on setting up and using the Church Center app on your phone.

Step 1: Download and Install the Church Center App

Search your app store for “Church Center” or go to the Android or iOS app link.

Download and install the app

Run the app and click on “Get Started”

Allow Church Center to find our church. To do so, either:

Allow it to access your location & click “MyTrinity Church”
 OR

Search for our church by entering “MyTrinity Church” and use the zip code “60970”

Click on the MYTRINITY  church logo and select “This is my church”

Enter your phone number. Use the phone number you have provided us for the church directory, and one that allows text messaging.

Church Center will text you a login code. Enter the login code in the app to continue to set up your password.

Click on your user profile to log in. You may optionally set up fingerprint scanning to login faster.

That’s it! You are all set up. From this point on, you should be logged in and you won’t need to perform these steps again.


Step 2: Using the Church Center App

We have set up multiple features for MYTRINITY within Church Center, and more are to come. Most features are found using the bottom navigation menu bar that has “HOME DIRECTORY GROUPS” 

 

Main Functions

Home: provides our basic church information

Check-In: The easiest way to check in the whole family for Sunday service, Sunday School, and other events. Click the button, click on the service (usually Sunday service), click on the family members checking in, and click Check-In and you're done!

Directory: View our church directory

Calendar: View upcoming events and services

My Schedule: Allows you to block out dates you are unable to serve and to see when you will be serving next. 

 Account (the top-right of the screen): View/Update your information, view your giving history and update your payment information, check out the services you are volunteering for, and more!


Your Account

Updating Your and Your Family's Information and Photo

Click on your photo or initials at the top-right corner of the screen to go into the “Account” screen.

To update your personal information, click on your name/photo at the top. This will take you to the “Edit Profile” screen. Click on each item to modify it. When done, click the Update link at the top-right of the screen.

You may also update your personal photo from here. Click on the existing photo or the “Update Photo” link (at the top of the “Edit Profile” screen). Then upload a photo from your device.

For heads of households: to update your household information, from the Account screen, click on the photos or initials under the “My Household” section. It will take you to a listing of your household members. Click on each member of your household to update their information. Just like updating your own information, click on each item to edit it, then make sure to click the “Update” link at the top-right of the screen.

Note: if you need to add or remove a household member, there is a link at the bottom of the page to contact us by email. We’ll be happy to help you out.

 

Church Directory

Updating Your and Your Family's Directory Settings

In order to access the Directory feature of Church Center, you must first be invited by one of the church pastors or staff members.

Invitations are only sent through email, and only through the primary email address we have on file for you.

Make sure to update your primary email address and your family members’ primary email addresses using the steps above.

Once you receive an invite to the MYTRINITY Directory, click on the link in the email and it will ask you to log into Church Center. Use the login you set up when you downloaded the app.

To choose what information to share on the church directory, go to Church Center, click on your icon or photo, and click on “Profile”.

In the Profile page, click on “My Directory Settings”. If you do not see this option, you have not yet been invited to the church directory. Please contact the church admin (admin@themountbc.org) to request an invitation.

There are options under “Directory Settings” for both your personal information and your household members’ information (if you are part of a household). Check each box to allow the directory to include that piece of information.

When ready, click the “Update profile” button at the bottom right of the page to save your settings and update the church directory.

To view your information and find others in the directory, click the “Directory” link within the app.


PRIVACY MODE

At Trinity Church, we understand the importance of privacy and respect the preferences of our members. Our commitment to maintaining privacy extends to our online directory system. Our directory in Church Center will be utilizing Privacy Mode, so when users browse our directory, all of our individuals will have their contact information safeguarded. Instead of displaying their personal phone number or email details directly, users will find a convenient "Contact Me" button on the profiles. This innovative feature ensures that members can still connect and communicate with each other while upholding their privacy preferences. If a person chooses to display their address, birthday or anniversary that will be visible in the directory.  This innovative feature ensures that members can still connect and communicate with each other while upholding their privacy preferences.
