Want to know who trinity church is?
We are so excited that you have taken the time to check out Trinity Church! We are looking forward to getting to know you!
There are three phrases that capture our hearts here at Trinity Church. We want to be a people who struggle well with the heartaches and joys of life by Loving God, Loving Others and Serving the World.
We believe that each of those phrases flows into and causes the next. If we love God well we will love people better, and as we learn to love people better, we will serve the world in ways that show the beauty of our God and the gospel.
So our goal is to . . .
Love God
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
We want our love for God to stand out. Weekly worship, instruction, prayer and obedience to God are all vital to a deepening faith that honors God and furthers human flourishing.
Love Others
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
At Trinity Church we believe the best way to express our love for others is to be connected with a group of Jesus followers. Trinity Church has many different group options that can fit your lifestyle. Whether you prefer a woman’s or men’s group, a home-based small group, or a group that serves in ministry together, it is important to never attempt to live the Christian life alone.
We also believe we need to express our love for others by serving in ministry. God has given to each of us abilities, gifts, and talents to be used to build up the body of Christ. At Trinity Church we believe we all have a role to play in helping the church be all that God desires us to be.
Serve the World
“Jesus came and said to them, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20, ESV)
Serving the world is what God has called us each to do. Jesus left his followers with a command commonly referred to as the Great Commission, to go and make disciples in all the world. The ultimate act of service is to make another follower of Jesus. This is why we believe at Trinity Church that reaching out to those who don’t know Christ personally is important for all believers..
