BRAVE

Life is painful. Some days it takes all we have just to survive. All we’ve worked for can be gone in an instant. Our hopes and dreams are put on hold or rendered impossible by the circumstances we face. The apostle Peter was no stranger to the challenges of life. He faced ridicule, torture, imprisonment, and even crucifixion upside down for his faith. Eleven times in scripture we see the command to be strong and courageous. This month we’ll ask if you’re Brave enough to Lead, to Love, to Confront, and to Wait with joy for the day of the Lord.

If you’re not feeling it, you’re not alone. That’s OK! But I pray that through His Word and His Holy Spirit, the Lord will make you strong and courageous. He will make you BRAVE. 10,000 years from now, the pain and suffering of this life will seem like a vapor. But meanwhile we need to survive today. So please come and be encouraged, and invite some friends that need an encounter with God to make them BRAVE!
